SEAM ALLOWANCES: 1 cm for all seams.
ATTENTION! Before sewing, print paper patterns and lay them out according to the linen width (from 90 to 150
cm) to find out how much material you need (do not forget about double and
symmetric details).

CAREFUL WITH NOTCHES – THEY MUST BE COINCIDING!
CUTTING:
Fabric:
1. Center back part – 1 piece
2. Side back part – 2 pieces
3. Center front part – 1 piece
4. Side front part – 2 pieces
5. Upper front part – 2 pieces
6. Upper back part – 2 pieces
7. Bow – 2 pieces
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Stitch front/back
relieves, neaten them and press toward centers.
2. Stitch side seams
excluding closure slit into left seam. Neaten right seam and press it, neaten
left seam and press it apart pressing closure slits’ edges.
3. Neaten center front
part’s upper edge.
4. Stitch
upper front/back parts together along right side seam. Press the seam apart.
Stitch upper front/back parts to top’s upper edge excluding front segment for a
bow. Neaten the seam and press it toward the facing.
5. Cut a strap. Fold the strap along the center wrong side out and make
a stitch at 0.5 cm from bending. Turn the strap right side out and press it.
Sew straps to front part.
6. Try the
top on, adjust straps’ length and sew back end to back part.
7. Stitch
the zipper into left side seam.
8. Lay upper parts
right sides together. Fold the facing at 5 mm before zipper’s edges and pin to
top’s upper edge. Fold allowances along the zipper into right side and pin them
to upper edge above the lining. Overstitch back part’s upper edges. Fold
closure allowances into wrong side. Fold inner facing upward and topstitch on
seam allowance at 1-2 mm from the seam. Fold the facing into wrong side and fix
to zipper braid. Neaten facings’ lower edge and topstitch along the seam. At
bow segment: slash the seam close to the mark, fold it under and stitch upper
front parts together. Fold the segment on center front part under and topstitch
on front part.
9. Neaten
top hem, fold it into wrong side and topstitch at 1 cm from lower edge.
10.
Overstitch the bow along on of short and 2 long edges. Turn the bow right side
out and press it. Fold unstitches edges under and press
them. Stitch the seam. Pull the bow through front hole and tie it.
