5162 ARTIFICIAL FUR WAISTCOAT

 

YOU NEED: artificial/nature fur of 150 cm width; lining of 150 cm width; fusing; 3 buttons.

 

NB! When cutting out, set one layer of fur wrong side upward. Nag looks in the same direction on all details. Cu cut off details, use a knife or razor blade to cut only fur base, without cutting the nap.

 

CUTTING:

Fur:

1. Center back part – 1 folded piece

2. Side back part – 2 pieces

3. Side front part – 2 pieces

4. Center front part – 2 pieces

5. Back basque – 1 folded piece

6. Front basque – 2 pieces

7. Collar – 4 pieces

8. Back neckline facing – 1 folded piece

 

Lining:

1. Center back part – 1 folded piece

2. Side back part – 2 pieces

3. Side front part – 2 pieces

4. Center front part – 2 pieces

5. Back basque – 1 folded piece

6. Front basque – 2 pieces

 

Fusing: center front lining.

 

instructions:

 

1. Apply the fusing to wrong side of center front lining.

 

2. Stitch front/back relieves and press them apart.

 

3. Stitch front/back basques to front/back parts right sides together and press seam apart.

 

4. Stitch side seams and press them apart.

 

5. Stitch collars’ middle seams together. Stitch inner collar into fabric neckline. Press the seam apart.

 

6. Stitch back neckline facing to back lining. Stitch lining seams excluding shoulder seams. Stitch outer collar into lining neckline. Lay the lining and fabric details right sides together, stitch them together along contour/armhole contours leaving shoulder seams open. Slash roundings at seams. Turn the details right side out.

 

7. Stitch fabric shoulder seams. Sew lining shoulder seams with blind stitches.

 

8. Make buttonholes into right edging, sew buttons on the left one.
