YOU NEED: moreen (cotton fabric); lining; 1 zipper; 1 button.
CUTTING:
Fabric:
1. Front middle panel
– 1 folded piece
2. Back panel – 2 pieces
3. Front upper
side – 2 pieces
4. Front
lower side – 2 pieces
5. Waistband
Lining:
6. Pocket lining
upper part – 2 pieces
7. Pocket lining
lower part – 2 pieces
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Sew back darts,
press them towards the center.
2. Neaten pockets. Sew side parts to middle one of front panel.
3. Sew back middle
seam between notch marks for closure and vent. Sew side seams. Sew the zipper
in.
4. Fold the
waistband along the center, sew short sides and closure allowance. Sew
waistband outer part to garment upper part right sides together. Fold waistband
inner part under and sew it to joining seam. Stitch the waistband along the
edges. Make a buttonhole.
5. Neaten the hem.
Press vent one-piece facing (back left panel) to wrong side along the bending
line, and sew to hem. Sew vent allowance lengthwise edge (back right panel) as
narrow as possible. Topstitch back left panel at the vent top diagonally upward
catching vent allowance.
